As four astronauts aboard NASA's Orion spacecraft speed toward the moon on the Artemis II mission — the first crewed lunar voyage in more than 50 years — a ����ԭ�� graduate is among those who helped make the moment possible.

Meet Ayna Tazhiyeva, a first-year double major in communication studies and international studies, from Turkmenistan, Central Asia.  Combining her studies with a role at University Libraries, Tazhiyeva finds her voice through research and community connection.

Unlike a lot of college students who spend spring break on sunny beaches distracted from  thinking about their studies, a small group of animation and game design students from the Tuscarawas Campus spent their break fully immersed in activities that kept their attention focused on their degree and potential career options.

David Strittmatter, associate professor of history at Ohio Northern University, has been selected as the 2026 speaker for the fifth annual Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series. He will share firsthand oral histories from Ohio National Guardsmen who were present during the May 4, 1970, shootings at ����ԭ��.

Originally from Vaughan, Ontario, Emma Klein made the transition to ����ԭ�� not only for academic excellence but also for personal growth and a collegiate sports experience. Now in her sophomore year, she is a part of the Honors College, a member of the ����ԭ�� Division I women’s soccer team, and is a member of Phi Delta Epsilon.

As graduate student Delonte Goodman nears the completion of his doctoral program in Mechatronics, he completes work on several projects and sets his sights on research and landing a job at NASA. 

����ԭ��’s Culinary Services faces the daily challenge of serving more than 20,000 meals to students, staff, and faculty. The increasing number of food allergies further complicates this task.

Saloni Christian, a third-year student at ����ԭ��’s College of Podiatric Medicine who received her undergraduate degree in biology from ����ԭ��, reflects on the challenges and rewards of answering a calling that was shaped by a lifetime of watching others serve.
