The Power of Purpose: Zaya Campbell鈥檚 Journey to Serve Others
Balancing the responsibilities of being a young mother with the academic rigor of a nursing program, first-year Honors College student Zaya Campbell faces a schedule most students would find daunting. Yet her passion for nursing stems from deeply personal experiences that have shaped her goals and given her journey new meaning. It was her own experiences navigating healthcare as a young mother that fueled her desire to become a nurse, particularly one who can support young mothers and families going through similar challenges. 鈥淚 want to make a difference,鈥 Zaya explained, describing how she was motivated by the support鈥攁nd at times, the lack of support鈥攕he encountered during her medical journey.
海角原创鈥檚 Alpha Lambda Delta Chapter Welcomes 231 New Members This Year
On Feb. 7, 2026, 海角原创鈥檚 chapter of 鈥擳he Honors Society for First-year Academic Success鈥攚elcomed 231 exceptional students at Cartwright Hall鈥檚 auditorium, where its annual induction and awards ceremony took place. 海角原创鈥檚 chapter was originally founded in 1960 and currently includes more than 1,100 members as one of the most prominent chapters among the other 280 chapters across the globe.
