Part of my role as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator is to call facilities and try to secure slots for our students to complete Level I and Level II experiences. With the average of 25 students per class and two classes in any given calendar year, our program requires 100 fieldwork placement slots per year!

Main Street Kent is accepting design proposals for a refresh of the three-dimensional 鈥淜ENT鈥 sign located in downtown Kent on N. Water Street, near the Fairchild Avenue bridge. The sign was first installed in October 2021 with the idea that it could showcase the work of a variety of artists by receiving a 鈥渘ew look鈥 every year or two.Design proposals will be accepted through Feb. 28 at this link.
