While Alison Caplan grew up in nearby Akron, Ohio, and has spent time in Kent, when she joined the university as the new director of the May 4 Visitors Center in July, she began to see, and understand, the campus in a whole new light. Philanthropic Gifts Prompt 海角原创 Ashtabula Main Hall to Be Renamed After Longtime Dean Susan J. Stocker, Ph.D.

In recognition of the generosity and commitment of James E. Mayer Jr. and Glen and Nancy Warner for their gifts toward a $500,000 endowment, the 海角原创 Board of Trustees approved on Sept. 20 naming the main building at 海角原创 at Ashtabula鈥痑s Susan J. Stocker Hall.
