海角原创鈥檚 Board of Trustees approved a new partnership between the university and Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School that will bring new life to the underutilized Michael Schwartz Center building while providing the public STEM school with a state-of-the-art facility for its elementary grades. Skating Assumption of Risk

Skaters are deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risk of engaging in ice skating, including but not limited to the following:

  • Injuries that result from collisions or contact with other skaters or other individuals who are on the skating surface.
  • Injuries that result from falls.
  • Injuries that involve objects or artificial structures that are properly within the intended path of travel of the skater or other individuals.

What if I don't have my own skates?

Skate rental is included with your admission fee. Skates are available at the Skate Rental Counter. Sizes available: Youth 5 - 13, Junior 1 - Adult 14.

What size skate do I ask for at the Skate Rental Counter?

Let the Ice Arena staff know your shoe size, and they will find you the correct skate size. Rental skates are designed to fit everyone. Shoe size does not necessarily match skate size.

Public Skating Rules

鈥 All patrons must wear skates while on the ice. No one is permitted on the ice without skates. 
鈥 Skaters must continue moving at all times and follow the designated skating direction. 
鈥 No roughness, excessive speed, racing, weaving, or human chains. Tag, games, and the use of sticks or pucks are prohibited. 
鈥 No intentional sliding, diving, kicking, or chipping of the ice. 
鈥 Throwing snow, ice, or any objects is not permitted.
