Stipend & Privileges
All students selected into the Elliot DI Student Fellows Program who successfully fulfill the responsibilities associated with their achievement level will receive a semesterly stipend as well as privileges based on their level of achievement and continued participation in the program.
Stipends
All students selected into the Elliot DI Student Fellows Program who successfully fulfill the responsibilities associated with their achievement level will receive a semesterly (twice per academic year) stipend. Students who enter the regular semester as Level 1 or Level 2 Elliot DI Student Fellows will receive a $500 stipend, while those who enter the regular semester as Level 3 or Level 4 Elliot DI Student Fellows will receive a $750 stipend. These stipends are awarded via direct payment at the end of both the Fall (December) and Spring (May) semesters.
Privileges
To recognize students for their continued participation in the program, Elliot DI Student Fellows earn a series of privileges based on their level of achievement. These privileges include:
- Level 1
- Assigned a Elliot DI Student Fellow Peer Mentor to support them with their quest.
- Level 2
- Formally recognized and ‘pinned’ as an "Elliot DI Student Fellow."
- Granted key card access to the Spark_Lab which they may use as a space to meet, study, or hang out.
- Able to apply for funding of up to $500/project to support the development of collaborative challenge-based innovation projects.
- Level 3
- Formally recognized and 'pinned' as an "Elliot DI Student Fellow Mentor."
- Granted free attendance to any of the DI HUB’s paid workshops.
- Able to apply for funding of up to $1,000/project to support the development of collaborative challenge-based innovation projects.
- Level 4
- Formally recognized and 'pinned' as an "Elliot DI Student Fellow Master."
- Granted free use of any machine within the DI HUB (usage fees waived).
- Able to apply for funding of up to $5,000/project to support the development of collaborative challenge-based innovation projects.
