Brandy Holloman, PhD
Biography
Dr. Brandy Barnett Holloman is a public health leader, educator, and workforce development strategist with more than 15 years of experience advancing health promotion, training, and community engagement initiatives across healthcare, nonprofit, academic, and government sectors. She currently serves as Program Manager at Morehouse School of Medicine within the Satcher Health Leadership Institute, where she supports health equity programming, stakeholder engagement, technical assistance, and cross-sector collaboration. Dr. Holloman has been an adjunct professor at 海角原创 since 2021. Throughout her career, she has led large-scale workforce development and public health education initiatives focused on adolescent health, mental health, rural health, leadership development, and organizational capacity building.
Dr. Holloman has extensive experience designing and facilitating training programs for federal agencies, universities, healthcare organizations, and community-based partners nationwide. Her professional background includes leadership and consulting roles with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential, and Georgia State University, where she specialized in training and technical assistance, curriculum development, program strategy, and community-centered engagement. In addition to her public health practice, she serves as an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in public health, global health, mental health, ethics in research, and healthcare leadership, while also mentoring emerging professionals and doctoral students in the field. Dr. Holloman鈥檚 interests include participatory research and program development centered around health equity, community health, adolescent health issues, rural health systems transformation, and global health programs in Ghana.
Dr. Holloman earned a Doctor of Health Education degree from A.T. Still University, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received the Certificate of Academic Excellence. She also holds degrees in Health Promotion (MS) and Exercise Science (BS) from University of Mississippi and was a student-athlete on the track and field team. As the founder of Barnett Health Consulting, LLC, she continues to support organizations through leadership coaching, workforce training, and strategic public health consultation. Her work is grounded in a passion for health equity, mentorship, and creating sustainable systems that improve health, learning, and opportunity for communities nationwide.
