Digital and instructional accessibility ensures all members of the º£½ÇÔ­´´ community can engage fully with technology, course materials, and classroom experiences. In addition to the events listed below, our Equal Access Learning Hub offers guidance and resources to help faculty and staff reduce barriers, meet legal standards, and design with inclusion in mind.

 

On-Demand Accessibility Trainings

  • (31:15) - Brief overview of new ADA digital accessibility regulations, as well as resources, considerations, and strategies for digital course materials. The webinar will also discuss a phased approach and timeline for this work.
  • (37:45) - Focuses on adding alt text to images in Microsoft and Canvas, including what it is, when it’s needed, and how to add it.
  • (42:16) - Learn how to identify and fix common color contrast issues in Microsoft and Canvas and make simple adjustments that can improve readability and accessibility.
  • (44:48) - A practical session on structuring course content in Word and Canvas using the º£½ÇÔ­´´ Online template for consistency and navigation.
