Society for Ecological Restoration Student Association at 海角原创
The Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) Student Association at 海角原创 seeks to reverse the degradation of ecosystems across our campus and local community for the mutual benefit of humans and nature. We apply and share the science of restoration by meeting with experienced professionals in the field, getting hands-on experience through local projects (native plantings, invasive removals, biodiversity monitoring, etc.), and leading a long term monitoring and maintenance program at the KSU Herrick Aquatic Ecology Research Facility. The association is open to all undergraduate and graduate students interested in either research or practice in the field of restoration, and connects them to the resources of SER. Students are encouraged but not required to become official members of SER, and the association will fund-raise to help students attend SER conferences and events.
